Old quarry stones from the Tenino Sandstone Quarry (circa 1889-early 1900's) provide a unique and picturesque waterfall in the small town of Tenino, Washington. The Tenino Stone Company closed its quarry in 1926. The sandstone pit, over 90 feet deep and fed by natural springs,serves as a public pool today.
